Affiliate Marketing is a great way for anyone to make money just by earning a commission when selling someone else products.
If you are a beginner, here are 3 easy steps on how to use Pinterest to make money with Affiliate marketing.
- Get your Self-Hosted Blog
- Publish some great blog posts
- Promote it on social media
You can make money with affiliate marketing even without a blog, but I highly recommend you to create your own blog, just because there are much more possibilities to earn money.
I started my blog two months ago, and signed up for a few affiliate programs and already made some affiliate commission. It was an incredible feeling when I woke up in the morning and saw an email “Congratulations! You just made a sale”.
I will explain to you the exact strategy I use to make money with affiliate marketing using Pinterest. Basically what you have to do, is to insert your affiliate link in your blog post, or a banner anywhere on your website and just wait for the people to click on that link and buy the product. If you don’t have a blog, you have to insert the affiliate link, directly on your pin from Pinterest.
Here it is exactly how to promote your affiliate links on Pinterest:
- Create a pin image using Picmonkey and save it to your computer
- Upload your image to Pinterest. Click on the red Plus Sign and then Create Pin.
- Upload your photo, type a title and description, add your affiliate link and chose a board.
And finally, you have to promote this pin. A good idea is to create multiple images for the same affiliate link and see which one perform better.
To get more exposure, I use an app call Tailwind. This is an incredibly useful website which allows to schedule your pins. Also, this will allow you to take part in some tribes (groups) of people with similar content as your, where you insert your pins and it will be shared by other.
You can find affiliate products in any niche. Just make a quick search on google with “your niche” affiliate. Create an account, get your affiliate link and start sharing it in the way described above. Please let me in the comments if you have any question.
